Are references JSON-LD was kind of moving more towards a preferred format and whether you can actually have the schema items within micro and data if they’re all transferred JSON-LD has more items you can kind of mark up as such?

At the moment, I think we support a little bit less with JSON-LD than with the normal other types of markup. So I could imagine that we’ll start doing more and more in JSON-LD can’t promise that that will become our preferred way of marking things up. So that’s thinkable, but I don’t really have any background information there, and I can’t really make that call for them ahead of time.

I’d just make sure that if you use both of them, make sure that you’re not using the same types of markup in both of them at the same time because that can get a bit confusing, especially in some situations where we’ve seen people use the same markup in multiple formats on the same page but with different content. So that’s something where I’d just pick one of these types to work on your pages and try to put your content into that. And if JSON-LD is the one that you think works best with your content, with your CMS, with your website, then see what you can put in there and otherwise use the other formats.
