How to improve rankings or clicks with the site with very few impressions? Or what does it mean?

Essentially if you’re seeing that the site has very low impressions for individual queries and you assume this is a fairly popular query then that means your site is just occasionally ranking or it’s just shown in the personalized search results or maybe it was just shown once on one day in the last month but not regularly so this is something where you need to keep in mind that this low number of impressions means that the data that you’re looking at is probably not representative it’s probably not something that you can repeat yourself when you look at the search results yourself so this is one of those things to kind of keep in mind usually what happens when I see we’re things in search console or with regards to like a total traffic to my site I see changes then I kind of help people to drill down for the details to figure out what specifically changed was it like a section of your site that’s not being shown so much in search anymore was it accidentally removed was there may be a technical issue on your side with regards to this part of the site is this something quirky that’s happening for just individual countries so for example the the webmaster central blog sometimes ranks for the query google within canada and within no other country so we sometimes see big jumps in the number of impressions for the blog which actually don’t really indicate that the viewers are the normal searchers that were trying to target i have changed their behavior or site is breaking in a in a fantastic way it’s essentially just showing that well google was showing your site for something that’s probably not so relevant but it made a big impact and the only way you can figure these things out is by drilling down for the details so the type of search query that’s shown the location and really figure out what what happened here ¬†and finally one thing that I recommend is to try to save the data that you get in search analytics you can either save that to google spreadsheet or you can use API and pull it down on your side there are also a bunch of really fantastic tools that pull down the data with api there there’s a neat browser plugin for google spreadsheets plugin that pulls into data into Google Spreadsheets directly and essentially what you want is kind of a longer-term overtime view of your site’s visibility and social analytics at the moment just has three months of data so if you want to look further if you want to look at the whole quarter or whole year then that’s something you need to collect on your side and you need to collect that from time to time you can’t think of this like at the end of the year and say oh if only I had the data for the rest of the year because then it’s too late so kind of drop a calendar reminder in in your calendar and make sure you download that data whenever you you need to collect for long-term:
