On the widget algorithm show Google reads if you have widgets to sub domains though they are controlled? Will Google read it as a value link or still it looks like a promotional link?

JOHN MEULLER (Webmaster Analyst from Google):

So if this is all within your website, then usually, that’s not something I would worry about. Then that’s usually something that you’re just providing alternate ways of navigating within your website. And that’s perfectly fine. On other hand, if this is one widget that you’re providing, and you’re giving it to, I don’t know, thousands of other websites, then just because it links to a sub domain doesn’t change the nature of this link essentially being provided by you. So that would be something that we’d recommend using a no follow on. But again, if this is just within your website, if this is adding value within your website, within the navigation on your website, then that’s perfectly fine.
