So this is something people sometimes freaked out about which which is understandable because if you see changes that you don’t really understand its it can be confusing we like to flag that in search console as much as possible so we’ll add this kind of line here which is barely visible and we’ll put a note here either I think we change it now to say note and thanks to feedback from burberry for example I you suggested a update you can click on this and you can go to the data anomaly page to get information about this specific change a lot of these changes are just based off of our internal kind of crawling and indexing systems and they don’t affect how your site is visible in search and overall so this is something don’t panic if you see spikes don’t panic if you see this note annotation in search console it’s just telling you something internally changed you might see some effects of that in the graphs but that’s completely normal for the most part not something you need to worry about in this case I think we removed from the site over and you see this kind of rise here and the index information so some of these changes are based off of things that you do and sometimes we just make internal adjustments that also affect them at the graphs here.
