What metric does Google autocomplete use in the search results? Should we be looking at this more? And does it give an indication of what Google thinks of our site against the search terms? If not what is it telling us from an SEO point of view?

JOHN MEULLER (Webmaster Analyst from Google):

It’s probably not telling you anything from an SEO point of view.Because this is more of a user facing feature that tries to make it easier for users when they search. And it’s not meant to be a webmaster facing feature that gives you SEO advice. So that’s something where I wouldn’t necessarily worry too much about that.
